On the eve of the annual Running Man competition, the players race against one another through a series of challenges to obtain the ‘Super Belt,’ a legendary item which make its wearer absolute ruler of the world.
In Tree City, Metronome works in secret to keep all things in balance. Adel, its charismatic director, hires the former champions of the Running Man competition as agents. Among them is Adel’s protégé, Lema. One day the Running Men inexplicably begin committing crimes throughout the city.
